Mi-rae, is a Korean given name, in modern times used as a feminine name. The meaning differs based on the hanja used to write each syllable of the name, however the most common way of writing this name in hanja is 未來, meaning "future".[1] There are 33 hanja with the reading "mi" and 9 hanja with the reading "rae" on the South Korean government's official list of hanja which may be used in given names.[2]
